It looks like the magic is still continuing for the fans of the Hallmark Channel staple Good Witch.

The world premiere of Hallmark Channel’s new original scripted series, Good Witch, charmed viewers Saturday night, averaging 2.9 million P2+, 450,000 W25-54, and a 2.7 HH rtg., according to Nielsen fast national ratings.

“The hugely successful debut of Good Witch further underscores the demand for Hallmark Channel’s unique brand of original series in primetime,” said Michelle Vicary, executive vice president, programming & network publicity, “We now have a proven track record in this programming format and feel confident that viewers will continue to tune in every Saturday night over the next 8 weeks to follow Cassie Nightingale’s journey and rediscover her magic.”

Good Witch follows the adventures of Cassie Nightingale (Catherine Bell), Middleton’s favorite enchantress, and her teenage daughter Grace (Bailee Madison), who shares her mom’s special intuition. When New York transplants, Dr. Sam Radford (James Denton) and his son move in next door to the Grey House, they are immediately spellbound by the mother-daughter duo. But it quickly becomes apparent that Sam and Cassie may not see eye to eye. With her signature charm, Cassie attempts to bring everyone together, ensuring all of Middleton is in for change, big surprises and, of course, a little bit of magic.
