There has been so much talk and rumor about the SyFy project Battlestar: Blood and Chrome. Well we can finally put all the rumors to rest as Syfy. On Friday November 9th, the series will initially debut as a 10 part web series on the Youtube channel Machinima followed by a 2 hour television movie to air in early 2013 on Syfy. Following all that, a DVD/Blu ray release will come shortly after it airs on Syfy.
Mark Stern who is the programming President, talked about this unusual roll out for the show:

We are thrilled to see this hotly-anticipated event premiere on Machinima, an online network that is unparalleled in its delivery of high-class digital content to millions of viewers.”
If you are not familiar with the show, it follows a young William Adama (Luke Pasqualino) and the events that happen during the first Cylon War.
