The brass at Fox have to be truly smiling today. Although only several episodes into the first season, Rosewood has become a surprise hit for the network.
So, to reward the freshman series, the network has decided to order three additional scripts. We guess it doesn’t hurt that the series is paired with the biggest show on network television today, Empire.
Rosewood debuted to an impressive 2.4 in the 18-49 demo and 7.5 million total viewers and has remained steady in its next two airings, even growing its audience a bit in its most recent episode.
The series follows Dr. Beaumont Rosewood, a Miami pathologist who finds secrets in people’s bodies using his state-of-the-art laboratory equipment. He uses his unique set of skills to help local law enforcement with their investigations.
