Banshee episode 2 promos!

AntonyStarr2

Cinemax's brand new series Banshee got off to a violent, sexy and fun start! Now the series is back for its second installment and we are assuming it will be more mayhem...and we mean that in a good way! Check out the synopsis for episode 2 and a couple of teaser clips!

Banshee airs Friday nights at 10pm only on Cinemax.

Synopsis: Hanson (Toby Leonard Moore), a desperate underling of Proctor, holds a rave in an Amish barn, selling homemade E pills stolen from his boss to Banshee youth, including Deva (Ryann Shane), Carrie’s rebellious daughter. Catching wind of the plan, Lucas and his team orchestrate a raid, but the effects of a tainted batch of pills send many revelers into convulsions, with one notable fatality. Though Deva is ferried home safely by Lucas, Hanson isn’t as fortunate when he returns to Kai’s mansion following the debacle.

AMC and FOX Television bring back The Killing!

The-Killing2

That's right...you read it correctly. Fans of the AMC series The Killing now have a reason to celebrate.

AMC and Fox Television Studios (FTVS) announced today a new deal which will return “The Killing” to AMC for a third season. As part of the deal, Veena Sud returns as executive producer, writer and showrunner along with actors Mireille Enos (Sarah Linden) and Joel Kinnaman (Stephen Holder).  Season three will focus on a new case, which will be resolved over the course of 12 episodes. Production on season three begins February 25th in Vancouver. “‘The Killing’ from day one has been a truly original take on the crime drama. Veena Sud and the rest of the talented creative team are hard at work shaping the lives of Linden and Holder, portrayed by the terrific Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman," said Charlie Collier, AMC’s president. "We're so pleased to welcome back 'The Killing' for another season." Fox TV Studios President, David Madden, said, “We have always believed in 'The Killing' and remain extremely proud of it, which is why we all worked so hard to find a scenario that could give it new life.” “I couldn’t be happier to know that I will be returning to work with AMC, FTVS and Mireille and Joel on what is and has always been a passion project for me. To the fans that have supported the series, thank you for doing so. My team and I will work hard to deliver the best story that we can for season three,” said Veena Sud. A year after closing the Rosie Larsen case, Sarah Linden is no longer a detective. But when her ex-partner Stephen Holder's search for a runaway girl leads him to discover a gruesome string of murders that connects to a previous murder investigation by Linden, she is drawn back into the life she thought she'd left behind. Stay tuned for more information and updates as we get them!

0_0_0_prm-homelandorder_1024x640

While one of the premiere date announcements was not much of  a surprise, the other one was a complete surprise. During the Television Critics Associations conference, the President of Showtime David Nevins, announced the premiere dates for its two hit series Homeland and Dexter.

Homeland's third season will premiere Sunday, September 29. After a fantastic season 1 and a second season that some critics and fans didn't think lived up to the caliber of season 1, principal cast members will be back for the third season.

The big news was the date announced for the premiere of Dexter's eight season. The new season of Dexter will premiere Sunday June 30...months earlier than it normally premieres.
