Cuba Gooding Jr. & Sarah Paulson Cast In 'American Crime Story: The People V O.J. Simpson'

Academy Award®-winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr. will play football star turned murder defendant O.J. Simpson and Emmy® Award and Golden Globe® Award nominated actress Sarah Paulson will portray prosecutor Marcia Clark in the first installment of Ryan Murphy’s new anthology miniseries for FX, American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson.

Cuba Gooding Jr. won the Academy Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Jerry Maguire in 1996 and has earned critical acclaim for his work in feature films and television. His feature credits include As Good as It Gets, Men of Honor, American Gangster, Red Tails and Lee Daniels’ The Butler. Gooding Jr. is currently appearing in theaters in Selma and is in production on The Book of Negroes. His television credits range from Hill Street Blues and MacGyver to the recent TV movie Summoned and the upcoming Comedy Central series Big Time in Hollywood, FL.

Damon Wayans Jr. Returning To New Girl Season 3?

new-girl-fox-tv-showSad day for Happy Endings fans and a great day for New Girl fans. E! News is reporting that Damon Wayans Jr. will be returning to the FOX sitcom for the third season. If you remember, Wayans was originally in the pilot episode of New Girl as the character Coach, but left the show when Happy Endings was picked up. Wayans was replaced by actor Lamorne Morris who was brought in as Winston in episode 2. Nothing has been confirmed, but E! News is reporting their sources are saying the Wayans is set to appear in 6 episodes with an option for more. How will the character Coach will be brought back into the New Girl universe will be an interesting and something fans will be looking forward to. New Girl returns for its third season on Tuesday, Sept. 17 on Fox This news was first reported by TVLine.
