Things are about to get interesting on the hit NBC series The Blacklist. Veteran actor Lance Henriksen will guest star on the series.

The Blacklist follows Raymond "Red" Reddington (James Spader), a former U.S Navy officer turned high-profile criminal, who had eluded capture for decades, voluntarily surrenders to the FBI, offering to cooperate on capturing a list of criminals who are virtually impossible to catch. He insists on working with a rookie profiler by the name of Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone).

HBO Sets Premiere Dates For 'The Casual Vacancy' Miniseries

HBO has confirmed the debut dates for the HBO Miniseries/BBC adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s global bestseller THE CASUAL VACANCY, with parts one and two scheduled to debut back-to-back Wednesday, April 29 (8:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT), followed by the debut of part three the next night, Thursday, April 30 (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET/PT).

The Casual Vacancy centers on Pagford, a seemingly idyllic English village with a cobbled market square and ancient abbey. Behind the pretty façade, however, is a town at war: rich vs. poor, teenagers vs. parents, wives vs. husbands, teachers vs. pupils.

Production Begins On Syfy's 'Defiance'; New Cast Members Added

Production has commenced in Toronto, ON for the 13-episode third season of Syfy’s highly-rated Defiance, featuring new cast additions Lee Tergesen (The Americans) as military leader General Rahm Tak, Nichole Galicia (Django Unchained) as Kindzi and Conrad Coates (The Strain) as her father, T’evgin (both part of a new alien race known as the Omec). Produced by Universal Cable Productions, season two of Defiance delivered an average of 1.2 million viewers 18-49 and 2.7 million total viewers (based on Live +7 data).

Following the events of the season two cliffhanger finale, season three of Defiance opens on the eve of an impending military siege upon the town, which has fallen on hard times following the collapse of its lucrative mines. Their fate uncertain, the townspeople face further threat with the surprise arrival of the mysterious and nearly extinct Omec, an alien race of warriors marked by the decades of subjugation they imposed upon the galaxy in the years preceding the Pale Wars.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan has been cast as a series regular in Extant, from Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Television and CBS Television Studios.

Morgan will play JD Richter, a roguish womanizer and a cop of the future who is a mercenary/bounty hunter. He is free-wheeling, hard-drinking and fearless, bordering on reckless, mostly because he's got nothing to lose. He is the everyman who thought he had seen everything until Molly Woods (Halle Berry) enters his life.
