TV Land To Debut New Comedies 'The Jim Gaffigan Show' & 'Impastor'; 'The Exes' Returns

Following the success of its critically acclaimed hit series “Younger,” TV Land is adding two new comedy series to its summer lineup – “The Jim Gaffigan Show” and “Impastor” – debuting on Wednesday, July 15th at 10pm and 10:30pm ET/PT respectively. Fan favorite “The Exes” will also be returning on July 15th at 11pm ET/PT.

TV Land's 'Hot In Cleveland' To End After Six Seasons

It seems like it's going to be Hot in Cleveland for one last season. TV Land has announced the sixth season in production right now will be the final season for the series according to Deadline.

Hot in Cleveland was the network's first original scripted series and debuted with an impressive 4.8 million viewers. Since it's beginning, the series has averaged averaged 2.4 million total viewers and a 1.12 in adults 25-54.

“It’s been an honor to work with Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and the incomparable Betty White as well as our executive producers Suzanne Martin, Todd Milliner, Sean Hayes and the rest of our exceptional writers, production team and crew,” said TV Land president Larry W. Jones.

The series has been a steady performer for the network and even spun off the series The Soul Man which stars Cedric the Entertainer.

TV Land Cancels 'Jennifer Falls'

It looks like Jennifer has fallen after all, pardon the pun.

According to Deadline, TV Land has decided not to renew the freshman comedy for a second season.

The single camera comedy starred Jaime Presley as a former high-powered executive who has fallen and hit every bump on the way down to rock bottom. With her teenage daughter (Dylan Gelula) in tow, she moves back in with her mother and takes a job at her brother's bar to make ends meet and figure out hew to rebuild her life.

TV Land Sets Premiere Date For Darren Star Comedy 'Younger'

“Younger,” TV Land’s new single camera comedy from prolific television creator Darren Star (“Sex and The City,” “Beverly Hills, 90210”) will premiere Tuesday, January 13th at 10pm ET/PT, it was announced today by Larry W. Jones, President of TV Land. The new comedy stars Tony® Award-winning Sutton Foster (“Bunheads”), Hilary Duff (“Lizzie McGuire”), Debi Mazar (“Entourage”), Miriam Shor (“GCB”) and Nico Tortorella (“The Following”) and has begun filming in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Star has tapped his friend and renowned stylist, Patricia Field, who was behind the trend- setting looks on “Sex and the City,” to be lead costume designer on “Younger.” Star will executive produce the series.

“We are all excited about the premiere on January 13th,” said Jones. “This show is sleek, alluring and all-around fantastic. The characters are funny and relatable, Darren is full of creativity and the sexy cast is bringing their A-game. The end of every script leaves us wanting more.”
