With the third season in full swing , Downton Abbey has become a huge hit in the United States. The first episode from Season three drew a record 7.9 million viewers.
Actress Shirley MacClaine is part of the new season of Downton Abbey and now comes word that actress Gwenyth Paltrow wants a role on the hit show.
Star Magazine is reporting that a rep for Paltrow said the she enjoyed working on Glee and wanted her team to get her on Downton Abbey. Upon hearing the news, show creator Julian Fellowes was excited and now is working out a cameo appearance for the actress.
