As first reported by Deadline, Oscar winner Marisa Tomei has signed on to the hit series in a recurring role. Marisa’s last television series appearance was during Season 3 of the hit FX series Rescue Me.
Marisa will play Mimi Whiteman, a demanding venture capitalist who becomes involved in Lyon family drama. A Forbes list billionairess, Mimi is a lover of hip hop music, social trends, high-end fashion and beautiful women.
Marisa joins the growing list of high profile guest stars for Season 2 that already includes Chris Rock, Alicia Keys & Lenny Kravitz. Could we see a showdown between Cookie and Mimi? We will just have to wait and see!
