We don’t think this news from NBC comes as much of a surprise to many.
The network announced that it has cancelled its David Duchovny led series Aquarius after just two seasons.
Since the beginning, Aquarius has done poorly in the ratings and the nail in the coffin was the series being moved from its Thursday night timeslot to Sauturday night.
Although the cancellation is bad news for one group of fans is good news for another group of fans.
With the cancellation of Aquarius, this may make scheduling a little easier for the much anticipated eleventh season of The X-files.
Recently, Fox Entertainment President David Madden did confirm that talks were ongoing to bring another season of the Chris Carter series, but the schedules of the main participants has been the main stumbling block.
