Deadline is reporting that after three seasons, the ABC cult comedy is officially gone. Reports are that Sony Pictures TV is finally ending its attempt to have the series picked up by another network. One of the major issues that pretty much sealed the cult comedy’s fate is that the cast’s options are set to expire this weekend. Even before Happy Endings’ cancellation has been officially announced, Sony Pictures TV was hard at work looking for another home for the series. The did express some interest, but later decided not to pick up the series.
