One could say that taking on the challenge of writing about Prince and his legendary output of music could be a daunting task. Well, Matt Thorne has taken this task head on once again.
His recently released updated and expanded version of his book Prince and His Music adds even more insight to the man and his released and his staggering amount of unreleased music. Thorne manages to walk the casual and hardcore Prince fan through Prince’s life as a man and a musician with respect and delicacy.
With the new version of the book out now and the recent announcement of the Diamonds & Pearls Super Deluxe set, we thought it would be a perfect time to share our interview with the author.
