While one of the premiere date announcements was not much of a surprise, the other one was a complete surprise. During the Television Critics Associations conference, the President of Showtime David Nevins, announced the premiere dates for its two hit series Homeland and Dexter.
Homeland’s third season will premiere Sunday, September 29. After a fantastic season 1 and a second season that some critics and fans didn’t think lived up to the caliber of season 1, principal cast members will be back for the third season.
The big news was the date announced for the premiere of Dexter’s eight season. The new season of Dexter will premiere Sunday June 30…months earlier than it normally premieres.
