Syfy has announced the premiere dates for the first season of Hunters and the second season of 12 Monkeys.
In Hunters, when Baltimore FBI agent Flynn Carroll’s wife goes missing, his search leads him to a highly-classified government organization – the Exo-Terrorism Unit (ETU) – who track and fight alien terrorists.
Britne Oldford plays Regan, a valuable ETU operative keeping secrets of her own. The gritty sci-fi thriller also stars Julian McMahon as the dangerously unhinged terrorist, McCarthy.
The series is inspired by best-selling author Whitley Strieber’s novel, Alien Hunter and is from executive producers Gale Anne Hurd and Natalie Chaidez, who will also serve as showrunner, and Emile Levisetti.
The 13-episode first season debuts Monday, April 11 at 10PM ET/PT.
Syfy’s critically-acclaimed time-travel thriller 12 Monkeys will return for a second season on Monday, April 18 at 9PM ET/PT.
This all-new 13-episode season will air Mondays, with Aaron Stanford (James Cole), Amanda Schull (Dr. Cassandra Railly), Kirk Acevedo (Ramse), Emily Hampshire (Jennifer Goines), Barbara Sukowa (Katarina Jones) and Todd Stashwick (Deacon) reprising their roles.
12 Monkeys follows the journey of Cole, a time traveler sent back in time from a dark, hellish future to prevent it from ever happening. Joining forces in the present with Dr. Railly, Cole must defeat a centuries-old malevolent organization known as the Army of the 12 Monkeys.
As Cole, Railly and their unlikely allies get closer to the truth, they’ll learn there are deadly consequences for all of history … and time itself.
