CBS has renewed the summer reality hit Big Brother for its 19th and milestone 20th seasons for broadcast in summer 2017 and 2018.
Hosted by Julie Chen, the series has continued to be a ratings winner for the network in the all important 18-49 demo during its summer run.
Big Brother follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with 87 HD cameras – seven more than last year – and more than 100 microphones, recording their every move 24 hours a day.
Also announced by the network today, it will be bringing back its hit series Zoo for a third season to air in 2017.
Currently in its second season, Zoo is this summer’s second most-watched original scripted broadcast.
Based on the #1 bestseller by James Patterson, Zoo is a global thriller about a wave of violent animal attacks against humans across the planet.
