Well that didn’t take long at all!
Crackle, Sony’s free streaming network, today announced that The Art of More has been renewed for a second season less than two weeks following its November 19th premiere.
The series has garnered 2 million views since debut and more than half of the viewers were new to the network.
The second season will be 10, hour-long episodes and will begin shooting in early 2016.
“As our most ambitious series to date, ‘The Art of More’ is a brand-defining drama that speaks to Crackle’s mission to be a home to must-see original content,” said Eric Berger, GM of Crackle and EVP of Sony Pictures Television Digital Networks. “The successful performance of the series in such a short amount of time is a testament to the incredible team behind it who will take our audience deeper into a world where there is still much more story to tell.”
Led by an all-star cast including Dennis Quaid, Kate Bosworth, Cary Elwes and Christian Cooke, the critically-acclaimed original, Crackle’s first one-hour scripted drama, delves deep into the cutthroat world of premium auction houses and pulls back the curtain on the dark underbelly of a multi-million dollar business filled with hustlers, smugglers, power mongers, and collectors of the beautiful and the esoteric.
The Art of More is created by Chuck Rose, who with Gardner Stern, is writer and executive producer.
Dennis Quaid, Laurence Mark, Gary Fleder and Tamara Chestna, also serve as executive producers.
