Hallmark Channel announces Colin Ferguson (“Eureka,” “The Vampire Diaries”) has been cast in a recurring role in season three of Hallmark Channel’s highly-rated Primetime Original Series, “Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove.” The #1 primetime drama, starring Andie MacDowell and Dylan Neal, makes its anticipated return with a special two-hour season premiere July 2015. Ferguson is slated to play Cedar Cove’s charming new District Attorney Paul Watson, who wastes no time getting to know Judge Olivia Lockhart while stirring up some drama in and out of her courtroom.

Canadian actor, director and producer Colin Ferguson is best known for his starring turn as Sheriff Jack Carter on Syfy’s “Eureka.” Born and raised in Montreal, Ferguson has appeared in over three dozen television series and films, including the American remake of the British hit sitcom “Coupling,” Universal Pictures’ 2007 film “Because I Said So” opposite Diane Keaton and Mandy Moore, Syfy’s “Haven,” TNT’s “Major Crimes” and most recently, CW’s “The Vampire Diaries.”
