Virgin River, the hit Netflix series, has now become its longest running original scripted series. Fans of the show have become obsessed with and completely invested in the lives of the characters in this quaint Northern California town.
One of the newest characters to join the Virgin River family is Kaia Bryant, played by the talented Kandyse McClure. Kaia is a tough, fiery and resilient fire fighter who became the town’s new fire chief at the end of season 5. Now, currently streaming its seventh season, we get to learn more about Kaia, her relationship with Preacher and much more. For fans of the series, Virgin River has already been renewed for an eighth season.
Many viewers may know Kandyse from her incredible portrayal of Lt. Anastasia Dualla in the Syfy series Battlestar Galactica, but she has done so much more incredible work over her career. She’s appeared in series such as Hemlock Grove, Charmed, Motherland: Ft. Salem, Private Eyes, Limetown, Ghostwars and Supernatural just to name a few.
We sat down with Kandyse to talk about the new season of Virgin River, where the relationship stands with Kaia and Preacher, the unexpected friendship between Kaia and Brady and so much more!
