Emmy Award-winning actress Jaime Pressly has been added as a series regular, beginning next season, to the cast of the critically-acclaimed series, MOM, which airs Thursdays (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Pressly, who began guest-starring on the series this season, plays Jill, a rich, self-obsessed divorcee who has been through rehab a few times and is working hard on her sobriety with the help of her friend and sponsor, Christy (Anna Faris). CBS announced yesterday that MOM has been renewed for a third season.
Currently in its second season, it is up +42% in viewers (11.89m), +16% in adults 18-49 (2.9/09), and +31% in adults 25-54 (4.2/11), compared to a year ago. In its Thursday (8:30-9:00 PM) time period, MOM ranked first in viewers, adults 18-49 (tie) and adults 25-54. It continues to perform strongly since moving to 9:30 PM, improving the time period in all key measures. The series stars Anna Faris, multiple Emmy Award winner Allison Janney, Sadie Calvano, Matt Jones, French Stewart, Mimi Kennedy, Blake Garrett Rosenthal and Spencer Daniels.
