American Odyssey starred Anna Friel, Peter Facinelli, Jake Robinson and Jim True-Frost. It revolved around the discovery by a US Army team on a secret mission in in Mali that a major US company has been funding Islamist terror groups and the cover-up of it, which involves the attack and killing of the team soldiers by private military contractors sent by the same company.
The series debuted to 5.4 million viewers and a 1.2 in the all important 18-49 demo, but slid in the ratings each week and went as low as a 0.4.
