This particular news from NBC doesn’t really come as a surprise.
The network announced today that it has given the freshman series Blindspot a back nine order, bringing its first season to a full 22 episodes. This news follows NBC’s recent order of nine backup scripts.
Blindspot is the top new series in the all important 18-49 demo and to date, the series is averaging 9.6 million total viewers and a 2.7 in the 18-49 demo in Live+Same Day.
Blindspot stars Jaimie Alexander and follows a mysterious tattooed woman who has lost her memory and doesn’t remember who she is. The tattoos on her body turn out to be clues that the FBI uses to solve cases.
