It’s never a bad thing when an episode order increases for a series; even if it’s only one episode.

NBC announced today that it was ordering an extra episode for four of its strongest series.

Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., Law & Order:SVU and freshman breakout Blindspot will now have their episode order increased from 22 to 23 episodes.

While the episode increase for all three Wolf produced series is not unusual, what is unusual is the episode increase for Blindspot.

Not only is Blindspot a freshman series, it also is produced by an outside studio – Warner Bros. TV.

NBC is ready for the midseason with new dramas including Game of Silence, Shades Of Blue and Heartbreaker with Chicago Med set to debut on November 17th.
