It seems NBC is showing its confidence in its freshman series with the latest news from the network.
First reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the network has ordered nine additional scripts for its series Blindspot.
The Jaimie Alexander led series debuted a week ago to a strong 3.1 in the 18-39 demo and 10.6 million total viewers. Factor in the numbers for three days of viewing, the 18-49 demo jumps to a 4.5 and the total viewers lands at an impressive 15.2 million.
Although this is definitely a positive sign from the network, it must be stressed that they have not yet officially given the green light for a back-nine order.
Blindspot was created by Martin Gero and follows a mysterious woman who has lost her memory. Her entire body is covered with tattoos that are clues to crimes that the FBI will have to solve.
