As reported by TVLine, veteran actress Marina Sirtis has been cast on the hit CBS series NCIS. Marina is most known for her performance as Deanna Troi for seven seasons on Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Marina’s character will take over as head of Mossad after the death of Ziva’s father Eli David. Executive producer and show runner Gary Glasberg says “The search to replace Eli David as Mossad Director was tricky for us, but we ended up with a true find in Marina Sirtis.”
Glasberg goes on to say ““I’ve always been a Star Trek fan, but Marina really owns this part. The cast loves her. She’s everything I wanted for the role and then some. We are lucky to have her.”
She is scheduled to make her debut sometime in April on the series.
