Looks like Walt, Vic and the rest of the Longmire gang will continue for another season.
First announced on the official Longmire Facebook page and then confirmed by the Pop Culture Principle, Longmire has been renewed for a fifth season.
“We’ve never been one to back down from a fight. Longmire will return to Netflix for Season 5.”
After the series was cancelled by A&E, outraged fans joined forces and mounted a save the show campaign which was quite impressive. Only months after the show’s cancellation, Netflix announced it would pick Longmire up for a fourth season.
Longmire is based on the Walt Longmire Mysteries series of mystery novels written by best-selling author Craig Johnson and was developed by John Coveny and Hunt Baldwin.
The series stars Robert Taylor, Lou Diamond Phillips and Katee Sackhoff.
