There are thousands of Full House fans who are popping the champagne and celebrating right now.
While appearing on Late Night with Jimmy Kimmel, John Stamos was discussing a new pilot that he shot for Fox. Although the pilot does not have a title yet, according to Stamos the show will revolve around a guy who 50, a bachelor and owns a restaurant.
At the beginning of the pilot, he finds out that not only does he have a son, but his son has a daughter. John spoke about how much he loved the pilot and hopes that it gets picked up to series.
During the conversation, Jimmy Kimmel asked John about the Full House revival rumors and John said he would give Jimmy an exclusive about the rumors. Five minutes before Stamos appeared on the show, he said that he was given permission to tell the world that the deal has been signed to revive the series. The 13 episode series will start as a reunion with the first episode and then spin-off into the new series.
The Netflix series will star Candace Cameron Burke, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber. On the show, Candace’s character will have three boys and the house will be turned over to her. Asked if any other regulars from the original series would make appearances, Stamos hoped that they can get as many people from the original series to be in the hour reunion special that will lead into the spin-off.
