Helix-Season-2-Main

With the beginning of the network upfronts just days away, many shows will soon find out if they will live on for another season or if this is the end of the road. Some shows are already finding out their fates ahead of the upfronts.

ABC recently announced that it was cancelling Revenge after four seasons and now comes word that Syfy has decided to cancel Helix after two seasons.

The news was first reported by Deadline and should not come as a total surprise. The audience dropped significantly compared to the first season. The series debuted 1.82 million Live+SD and continued to hold on to its audience during the first season.

During season 2, which just had its season finale on April 10, the audience fell 59 percent in total viewers and 62 percent in the demo compared to season 1.
