It looks like the brain eating will continue for at least another season on the CW.
Today, the network announced that it was renewing its freshman series iZombie for a second season. Right out of the gate, the show was a hit for the network and continued to perform steadily for the network.
The series follows medical resident, Olivia “Liv” Moore has her world turned upside down after attending a party, at which she was turned into a zombie. A once happy go lucky woman with a blooming romance and promising medical career now starts work at the Seattle morgue, in order to satisfy her urge for brains. But, with every murder victim’s brain she eats, she takes personality traits from that person and receives flashbacks that often give her clues to how they were murdered. She uses this new skill to help the Seattle Police Department at solving crimes, who think she is a “psychic” consultant.
Along with today’s announcement, the CW has already renewed Beauty & The Beast, Arrow, The Flash, Jane The Virgin, Supernatural , Reign, The Originals, The Vampire Diaries and The 100.
