Netflix just keeps chugging along with its slate of original programming. Well, you can add another series to the list.
The streaming giant announced that it has order an untitled supernatural drama ((formerly known as Montauk), that will star Winona Ryder and David Harbour.
The 8 episode series is about a young boy who vanishes into thin air. As friends, family and local police search for answers, they are drawn into a mystery involving top-secret government experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and one very strange little girl.
Winona Ryder will play Joyce, mother of the missing 2-year-old. In the quest to rescue her son, she summons a strength she never knew she had and David Harbour will play the Chief of Police in Montauk, who oversees the investigation into the disappearance of the young boy.
All eight episodes will be written and directed by Matt and Ross Duffer who both worked as writers and producers on the current FOX event series Wayward Pines.
