ABC’s Friday night comedy is no longer the last show standing. Today, the network announced that it will be renewing the Tim Allen led series Last Man Standing for a fifth season.
Although the series has not been a ratings juggernaut for ABC on Friday nights, it has been a steady and solid performer for the network. Unfortunately, all is not good news as the comedy it was paired with Cristela was cancelled recently. Last Man Standing joins 23 other shows that were renewed by ABC.
The series follows Mike Baxter, a senior executive and director of marketing for an outdoor sporting goods store chain based in Denver, Colorado, whose world is filled by women – especially at home with his wife and three daughters, one of whom is a single mother.
