Recently at the Crown Media Family Network’s bi-annual TV Critics Association Summer Press Tour, the Hallmark Channel made several big announcements.

In the wake of ratings growth in its third season that concluded July 2, Hallmark Channel has renewed its hit, original primetime series Good Witch for season four.

The television series is based on the Good Witch movie franchise which is the network’s most successful movie franchise ever.

The series stars Catherine Bell, Bailee Madison and James Denton.

“Fans continue to be drawn to the magical world of Middleton and are captivated by the enchanting adventures of Cassie, Sam and Grace,” said Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President, Programming and Network Publicity, Crown Media Family Networks. “Our loyal viewers have embraced these characters and we’re thrilled to bring them more stories filled with magic, love and adventure in season four.”

The network also announced that is has renewed its two-time Daytime Emmy® nominated, original lifestyle series Home & Family for a sixth season that will begin September 11, 2017.

Home & Family will continue to air 260 original episodes this season, with new episodes premiering Monday through Friday (10a.m. ET/PT, 9C – 12p.m. ET/PT, 11C) on Hallmark Channel.

“Our viewers look to ‘Home & Family’ for guidance in all areas of their lives and we are excited that the show will return for a sixth season,” said Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President, Programming and Network Publicity, Crown Media Family Networks. “We are proud to have a show on for 52 consecutive weeks and honored to work with the entire ‘Home & Family’ team, dedicated to achieving this unprecedented cable television accomplishment.”

And finally, season five of Hallmark Channel’s original, primetime series When Calls the Heart returns with a two-hour sneak peek during the network’s annual, popular programming event, “Countdown to Christmas.”

In February 2018, the saga of Hope Valley will continue with 10, one-our weekly episodes.

Based on the book of the same name by Janette Oke, the series stars Erin Krakow, Lori Loughlin, Daniel Lissing, Jack Wagner, Pascale Hutton and Kavan Smith.
