***DISCLAIMER*** SAG-AFTRA and the WGA members are currently on strike. As part of the strike, union members are not promoting their film and television projects. This interview with Bailey Chase was conducted prior to the strikes.
If Bailey Chase’s face looks familiar, it should. Many of you will know him from his time on the hit series Longmire, but his resume is full of incredible work. He’s appeared in series such as S.W.A.T., Queen of the South, 24: Legacy, Grimm, Criminal Minds and Saving Grace just to name a few.
Now, Chase has taken on the leading role of the upcoming western Far Haven. The film follows Hunter Braddock (Chase), who moves back to Far Haven. When his father-in-law is brutally attacked by an unidentified raiding party, Braddock must take on the corrupt forces strangling the town in order to protect what he loves most. The film will be released on September 3rd.
We had the pleasure of chatting with Bailey Chase about Far Haven, what it was like to tackle the leading role and setting the tone on set, why westerns still resonate with moviegoers and what message, if any, he would like viewers to take away from watching the film.
