To say Canadian actor Bruce Greenwood has an impressive resume of work in Hollywood is an understatement.

On the big screen, he’s been in films such as Doctor Sleep, Double Jeopardy, Thirteen Days, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Flight, Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness and Captive. On the small screen, he recently finished up a six season run as Dr. Randolph Bell on the FOX medical drama The Resident. He also appeared in series such as American Crime Story, Mad Men, The River and the cult classic Nowhere Man to name a few.

Now, he leads an ensemble cast in the Flanagan series The Fall of the House of Usher. Greenwood plays Roderick Usher, who is the CEO of Fortunato Pharmaceuticals and has a twin sister, Madeline Usher. Roderick is based on the character of the same name from the Edgar Allan Poe short story The Fall of the House of Usher.

We had the chance to sit down with Bruce Greenwood to talk about the circumstances of him joining the cast, what pressure he felt joining the series and what message, if any, he would like viewers to take away from the series after watching it.

****SPOILER ALERT!! If you have not seen The Fall of the House of Usher yet, do not watch the interview. Certain aspects of the series will be discussed that will be considered spoilers. Watch the series first, then come back and watch the interview.****
