HBO already has one star-studded new series on the horizon with Westworld, but they are adding another one to the mix. The network has given a series order to an untitled Rock ‘N’ Roll project that will be executive produced by Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger. Terence Winter will serve as showrunner and executive producer and the pilot will be directed by Martin Scorsese.

The hour-long drama is set in 1970s New York and will explore the drug- and sex-fueled music business as punk and disco were breaking out, all through the eyes of a record executive trying to resurrect his label and find the next new sound.

The series will be shot in New York. The cast includes Bobby Cannavale, Olivia Wilde, Ray Romano, Andrew Dice Clay and Juno Temple.
