Well, the Chicago franchise at NBC has added another show to its ranks.
What probably comes as no surprise, NBC announced today that it had picked up Dick Wolf’s Chicago Justice to series.
The series follows the State’s Attorney’s prosecutors and investigators as they pursue justice.
NBC has released an official logline for the series:
“As they take on the city’s high stakes and often media-frenzied cases, they must balance public opinion, power struggles within the system and their unwavering passion for the law. It all starts with a gut-wrenching case when one of Chicago’s finest is shot in the line of duty.”
Chicago Justice will star Philip Winchester, Nazneen Contractor and veteran actor Carl Weathers.
The new Chicago series will join already successful series Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med.
